Fulbright ETA Award

  • The Fulbright English Teaching Assistant Award is a prestigious, national scholarship that fully funds recently graduated students to be english teaching assistants in various countries.


TEFL Certification through InternationalTEFLAcademy

  • TEFL refers to Teaching English as a Foreign Language. TEFL Certification will aid in landing a job teaching English abroad and likely with salary. The InternationalTEFLAcademy explains everything in depth and has multiple testimonials.


Programs
English First: Teach English in China 

  • Recommended by my English professor; program to guide you through getting to teach English in China

English Program in Korea (EPIK)

  • Recommended by friend who underwent the program; Gone2Korea is a useful intermediary site to coordinate with the Korean government.
Adventure Teaching (China & Korea)

  • Recommended by my Career Resource Center at UOP. It suggests Korea as a destination for first time teachers and China for those who have 1+ post-grad experience.


Japan Exchange & Teaching (JET)

  • Recommended by my Fellowship Advisor; JET is a fairly competitive program but has many testimonials.
